Recently, in April, Netflix announced it hit 100 million subscribers.
Due to its higher-than-expected growth, adding 5.3 million subscribers instead of the 4.4 million projected, Netflix’s shares have recently reached 200$ per share, an amazing performance for a company in the media industry. It is expected that the price per share will continue rising, as Netflix gets more and more subscribers.
This news comes accompanied with a price hike in diverse countries, already applied in some, such as Romania, and to be applied in other countries such as the UK or the US. The increase in price is expected to be around 1$ per subscription, meaning it’s 9.99$/month plan will now cost 10.99$.
