Wuthering Waves’ latest banner is now up, featuring the 5-star Resonator Yinlin.
Wuthering Waves’ second banner since the launch of the game is now live, featuring the 5-star Resonator Yinlin. The banner, titled “When Thunder Pours”, is available starting today until the 26 of this month, June 2024. The character comes with a separate weapon banner, “Absolute Pulsation”, featuring Yinlin’s weapon “Stringmaster “.

Drop rates
The banner guarantees a 5-star Resonator within 80 pulls, with at least one 4-star Resonator or weapon guaranteed every 10 pulls. However, this banner has a 50/50 chance of giving a different 5-star character than the one advertised, in which case the banner character (Yinlin) would be guaranteed to be the next 5-star character to drop.
- The base 5-star Resonator drop rate is 0.8%, while the average drop rate is 1.8%.
- The base 4-star Resonator or weapon drop rate is 6%, while the average drop rate is 12%.
- The banner also features the 4-star Resonators Taoqi, Aalto and Yuanwu, with also a 50/50 chance of giving a different 4-star Resonator.
The banner also features the following characters:
- 5-star Resonators: Yinlin, Verina, Encore, Calcharo, Lingyang and Jianxin
- 4-star Resonators: Taoqi, Aalto, Yuanwu, Yangyang, Sanhua, Mortefi, Baizhi, Chixia and Danjin
- A mix of 4 and 3-star weapons
Weapon banner
Yinlin’s 5-star weapon, “Stringmaster”, is guaranteed to drop within 80 pulls on the weapon banner “Absolute Pulsation”. This banner does not feature another 5-star weapon.
Weapon drop rates
While the banner guarantees “Stringmaster” to drop within 80 pulls, other 3 and 4 star items are included in the pool, such as weapons and 4-star Resonators:
- The base 5-star weapon drop rate is 0.8%, the average drop rate is 1.8%
- The 4-star weapons and Resonators have a base drop rate of 6% and average drop rate of 12%
- The banner also features the following 4-star weapons, with a 50/50 chance: Jinzhou Keeper, Cadenza and Lunar Cutter
