Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ receives update: April 2021 security patch

Huawei’s Mate 40 Pro+ has just received April’s 2021 security patch.

We have recently bought a Huawei Mate 40 Pro+, directly imported from China, as this model is, at least for now, not available in Europe. While the device comes with software aimed at the Chinese market and some of the features and applications might be useless to the average European, this is offset by the excellent hardware, such as the camera, Kirin 9000 5G and so on. Regardless, this article is not a phone review, instead focusing on the software updates.

Our new Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ has thus received its first update, being the security patches released in April 2021 and improving overall system security.

This new update changes the version from NOP-AN00 11.0.0.170(SP1C00E171R6P3) to NOP-AN00 11.0.0.177(C00E171R6P3) and is 263 MB in size.
