The AI Cube is just another assistant similar to the many currently available on the market, such as Amazon’s own Eco devices, or Google’s Home. Even if the name says “Cube”, it looks more like a Google Home device, being a cylinder.

Just as its rivals, the AI Cube can also be used as a speaker. Furthermore, it includes 4G connectivity and can be used as an LTE modem/router, with download speeds of up to 300Mbps, and Wi-Fi speeds (if wired) of up to 1 200Mbps.

The 15-Watt, 400ml sound cavity speaker comes with Huawei’s Histen audio technology, just as Huawei’s smartphones.

Huawei hasn’t specified any availability, markets or prices yet, although it should come out in Europe by the end of the year.
