Huawei just released a small patch for its newly released Nova 3i/P Smart+, fixing a Wi-Fi issue.
This new patch changes the version from INE-LX1 8.2.0.102(C432) to INE-LX1 8.2.0.102(C432patch01) and is barely 7 MB in size. The patch was labelled as “Important system patches”.
The patch notes read as following:
- This update fixes an issue where a Wi-Fi scanning prompt repeatedly popped up in certain scenarios.
Once updated, the phone didn’t need to be restarted.
It seems this update is being pushed to most recent (if not all) Huawei phones, as both our P20 Pro and Mate RS Porsche Design received the exact same patch, fixing the same issue.
