A week ago, Huawei released an update for the P Smart, adding Google’s security patch for October.

Huawei continues updating its entry-level smartphones, with the P Smart receiving Google’s security patch for October around a week ago. Last month, in October, Huawei had already released September’s Google security patch, on top of GPU Turbo and a few other changes such as fixing issues with the Image Gallery and others.
This new patch changes the version from FIG-LX1 8.0.0.158(C432) to FIG-LX1 8.0.0162(C432) and is about 350 MB in size.
The patch notes read as following:
