In February of this year, the Mate 10 Pro received EMUI9.0, together with most of the security updates for 2018. Now, an update that has also been released on the P20 Pro and the Mate RS, has made its way to the Mate 10 Pro, improving the calling experience and certain prompt operations on some screens.
Google’s security patch for January 2019 is bundled together with this update, bringing the latest patch available to Huawei’s end of 2018 flagship phone.
This new update changes the version from BLA-L29 9.0.0.161(C432E4R1P11) to BLA-L29 9.0.0.197(C432E4R1P11) and is 618 MB in size.
The patch notes read as following:
- [User interface] Optimises prompts on certain screens.
- [Call] Improves call experience in certain scenarios.
- [Security] Integrates Google security patches released in January 2019 for improved system security. For more information on the security of Huawei EMUI system updates, please visit the official Huawei website: https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/bulletin/2019/1/.
