There had been a number of rumours and leaks concerning the Kirin 710, but now most of the information has been made available by Huawei. This new SoC, finally replacing the ageing Kirin 659 (made in a 16nm process), is made in a more power efficient 12nm process. It uses 4 Cortex-A73 clocked at 2.2GHz and 4 Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.7GHz, coupled to a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU.

We’ll probably be seeing this Kirin 710 in the upcoming Mate 20 Lite and the next P Lite from beginning of 2019, if we follow Huawei’s past offerings.

It is still unknown whether these two devices will come to Europe.
