Huawei’s Mate 10 Pro hasn’t received a single update since the beginning of this year, when, at the end of January, it received the security patch for December 2019. While it seems the device has been abandoned since then, the Mate 10 Pro is scheduled to receive EMUI10 this month, June 2020, together with various other models such as the P20 Pro or the Mate RS Porsche Design, which have already received this update.

Coming back to this system patch, according to the patch notes, it improves compatibility with some third-party applications, likely being Twitter and other major applications that most users are bound to use at some point. This update has also been rolled out on other models, such as the Mate 9.

This patch changes the version from BLA-L29 9.1.0.345(C432E6R1P12) to BLA-L29 9.1.0.345(C432E6R1P12patch01) and is only 25.81 MB in size.

The patch notes read as following:

  • This update improves system compatibility with certain third-party apps.
