STIB opens a fully electric bus line in Brussels

The new bus line, 33, will connect the neighbourhoods of Louise and Dansaert.

This new line is the first fully electric bus line in Brussels. 7 electric buses will operate on it, and charge overnight. The objective is to have a fully electric fleet by 2030.

These new buses will operate every day, with one every 20 minutes. Another novelty, the displays at each stop will show the real time left for the bus to arrive.

The buses have been supplied by Solaris, and have a capacity of 42 places, with 22 seats.
