Last year, together with the launch of the P20 series, Huawei announced the FreeBuds, a pair of wireless earphones/buds, similar to Apple’s AirPods. This year, together with the announcement of the P30 series, the Chinese manufacturer announced the FreeBuds Lite.
These new FreeBuds share the design of last year’s version and are also available in black and white. They offer “true wireless stereo”, up to 12 hours battery life with battery case, and are rated IPX4, being water and dust resistant.
This time, the FreeBuds Lite retail for 119€, less than last year’s, which retailed for 159€. The company has yet to give more details about this product.
Let’s just hope it suffers from less issues than the precedent version of the FreeBuds, with many units suffering from one side suddenly stopping working.
