Honor has decided to release an 8GB RAM version of their Honor View 10.

The Honor View 10, a cheaper version of the Huawei Mate 10 series, is currently available in two versions, one with 4GB of RAM and another one with 6GB of RAM. The brand has decided to release a version with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage in China the 14th of August.
The specs of the View 10 are as following:
- Kirin 970, NPU for AI and GPU Turbo out of the box
- 4/6/8GB of RAM
- 128GB of internal storage, expandable with microSD card, up to 256GB
- 5.99” display, with 2160×1080 pixels resolution, no notch
- Fingerprint sensor at the front
- Single front and dual back cameras, front 13mp, back 16mp+20mp, AI features
- 3 750mAh battery, micro-USB-C charger
- Headphone jack
- EMUI8.0
- Usual connectivity options, Bluetooth 4.2
- Available in 5 colours: Aurora Blue, black, Gold, Navy Blue, Red
- Price is around 400 to 450€ (VAT included) for 4/6GB versions
The release of the Honor View 10 with 8GB of RAM follows the recent launch of the Honor 10 GT, also an 8GB version of their Honor 10 smartphone. The new Honor View 10 will also feature GPU Turbo out of the box, although GPU Turbo will also be released on the regular View 10 shortly.
For now, this new version of the View 10 is limited to China and is currently unknown whether we will see it in Europe or not. The pricing of the 8GB+128GB version is of 3 299 CNY (about 420 euros, no VAT).
