In a different article, we talked of where to buy the 512 GB version of the Huawei P30 Pro, mentioning that it is currently only available in the UK. We also mentioned the device was supposed to be released on the 16th April, and that it seemed the release date had changed.
Various of the shops we recommended, such as Clove Technology, had recently changed the date to the 25th or 26th of April, about 10 days later than expected. We decided to reach out to one of these shops, suspecting that the delay came from Huawei’s side, and managed to confirm that yes, the release was delayed because of Huawei.
It is unclear why Huawei decided to delay the release by a few extra days, although this can be linked to either too many pre-orders (seeing how Amazon was out of stock just two days after listing the device), or a delay in the production/supply.
It is a shame the release was delayed, but not much can be done. Now we can just hope there will be enough stock for all of those who pre-ordered the device.
