Despite the many setbacks Huawei has experienced in the past few weeks and months, seeing their technology barred from various countries and consumers worrying about updates on their handsets, the manufacturer keeps pushing ahead, with the Mate Xs, the brand’s second foldable phone, released earlier this year, receiving a new update. As per usual, this update is a simple security patch, including no other changes or new features, with most changes now being done directly through app updates.
This new update changes the version from TAH-N29m 10.1.0.156(C432E4R2P1) to TAH-N29m 10.1.0.166(C432E4R2P1) and is only 210 MB in size.
The patch notes read as following:
- Integrates Android security patches released in September 2020 for improved system security. For more information on the security of Huawei EMUI system updates, please visit the official Huawei website: https://consumer.huawei.com/en/support/bulletin/2020/9/.
