Huawei’s MediaPad M5 Lite has just received January’s 2021 security patch.

Roughly two months ago, our Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite received the security patch for the month of December 2020, continuing the brand’s long software support for this model. Now, two months later, we have finally received the security patch for January 2021, slightly later than expected, as, previously, updates were released monthly without any delays. Regardless, the update is now here, but, as expected, contains nothing else than security fixes.
This new update changes the version from BAH2-L09 8.0.0.339(OCEC431) to BAH2-L09 8.0.0.340(OCEC431) and is only 169 MB in size.
The patch notes read as following:
