Huawei Nova 3i/P Smart+ receives updates: Google security updates and other issues fixed

​Huawei’s Nova 3i, known as the P Smart+ in Europe, has recently received a series of updates.

Our last article concerning the P Smart+ updates was released at the end of November of last year. Since then, the device has received three different updates, including Google’s security patches as well as fixing several issues present on the software of the device.

This update included 3 patches, releasing the security updates from Google from November and December 2018, as well as January of this year. On top of this, the updates fix some issues with the calls and compatibility with third-party apps.

This patch changes the version from INE-LX1 8.2.0.130(C432) to INE-LX1 8.2.0.136(C432) and is 770 MB in size.

  • [Call] Adds the Explicit Call Transfer feature.

Adds Enhanced Voice services, which enhance voice quality and music quality.

  • [Apps] Optimises compatibility with certain third-party apps.
