Our Huawei Mate 40 Pro+ has just received a new update, which includes the security patches released in September 2021, as well as fixing some issues with the Multi-Window dock. This update doesn’t include any other changes apart from these two.

This new update changes the version from NOP-AN00 2.0.0.165(C00E160R6P2patch04) to NOP-AN00 2.0.0.168(C00E160R6P2) and is 354 MB in size.

Ironically, it is with this update that we’ve found out that the OS version in the settings doesn’t update right after a new patch is installed, as our previous article claimed the version had changed to NOP-AN00 2.0.0.165(C00E160R6P2), but in reality said update included two patches, with the correct, final OS version being NOP-AN00 2.0.0.165(C00E160R6P2patch04).

The patch notes read as following:

  • [Multi-Window] Fixes an issue where some app icons on the Multi-Window dock would not respond to touches.
  • [Security] Integrates security patches for improved system security.
