At the end of December 2018, Huawei announced the release of a limited-series Mate 20 Pro and Nova 4 to celebrate 200 million devices sold during the year.

In 2018, Huawei managed to ship over 200 million smartphones. To celebrate this achieving, the company announced the release of a limited-series commemorative edition, composed of the Mate 20 Pro and the Nova 4.
The Mate 20 Pro comes in its higher-end version, being 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The Nova 4 comes with a version of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The rest of the specifications for both devices remain the same, although a small badge on the back of the phone celebrates the achievement.
Both devices were available at the beginning of January of this year, although only sold in China and already sold-out.
