As with every launch, Huawei introduced various new accessories to go with the Mate 30 series.

As with every launch, Huawei showcased a series of existing as well as new accessories to go with the new Mate 30 series. For instance, some of the products announced with the P30 series were showcased once again, such as the 40W 12 000mAh SuperCharge power bank:
We also see the 40W SuperCharge car charger, which is useful for those wanting to charge their smartphone while on the go:
We then have a new wireless charger for the car, supporting the new 27W wireless charging. The peculiarity of this product is that the grip automatically opens and closes when detecting a hand nearby, making things easier for the user:
While it was not showcased at the Mate 30 series launch, due to the new 27W wireless charging, the company likely introduced a new wireless charger, replacing their existing 15W CP60 one.
An accessory that is not really made by Huawei but that is compatible with the Mate 30 Pro is OSMO’s Mobile 3, a gimbal. Huawei has added support for this gimbal in their CameraKit, meaning there’s no need to download any supplementary application to make it work. The product also automatically discovers and pairs when a Huawei Mate 30 Pro is nearby. Those wanting an optimized accessory to stabilize their smartphone while recording now have an option supported by the manufacturer, which is always a positive selling point:
Another third-party accessory compatible with Huawei’s Mate 30 Pro is a studio light, Profoto C1 and C1 Plus, which is also the world’s first studio light for smartphones. Once again, Huawei has integrated this accessory directly to their CameraKit, with a dedicated flash icon to use it:
While not really an accessory for the Mate 30 series, and not initially announced at this launch, the company recently introduced a new generation of wireless earbuds, the FreeBuds 3. These should be available next month, for 179€:
Again, while not an accessory for the Mate 30 series, the company introduced a new smartwatch to complement their devices, the Huawei Watch GT 2, an upgrade of the original version. This time, the two different sizes, 46mm and 42mm, will be available on launch, as soon as next month, for 229€ and 249€ respectively:
Curiously, with the launch of the P30 series, Huawei was eager to showcase a multitude of cases for it. This time, only a special case for the Huawei Mate 30 RS Porsche Design was showcased, which comes with a leather handle to maintain the device horizontally on flat surfaces:
The presentation of accessories this time was really minimal compared to the P30 series, which saw various special editions, the mention of the many cases available or even the mention of the special snorkelling case. Of course, we expect the usual designs to be eventually available after the launch of the Mate 30 series, such as flipcovers with a transparent tactile part on the front.
