Huawei has revealed, first via Richard Yu’s Weibo account (similar to Twitter but for China), then via their Twitter account in English, that they had managed to ship over 10 million units of the Mate 20 series since launch, series that was launched around 4/5 months ago, in November 2018.

As per usual, Huawei has not revealed detailed sales numbers, meaning the “Mate 20 series” includes all the models, being the Mate 20 Lite, Mate 20, Mate 20X, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 RS Porsche Design, with pricing variations going from [at current prices] 299€ for the Mate 20 Lite up to 1595€ for the Mate 20 RS Porsche Design (at least in Europe).

For comparison, the P20 series needed around 5 months to sell 10 million units, while it took about 10 months for the Mate 10 series to reach 10 million units sold.

Huawei hopes to beat their 2018 shipments record, managing to ship over 200 million units last year. The company is making big promises about their upcoming P30 series, which will be announced at the end of this month in Paris.
