Huawei’s MediaPad M5 Lite has just received May’s 2020 security patch.

Over the past few months, our MediaPad M5 Lite has been receiving an unusual amount of security patches for such a cheap and old product, which, on top of this, should be on a quarterly schedule. For instance, at the beginning of this month, we received the security patches for February and April 2020, and, before that, we received January’s 2020. This time, the patch includes the security patches released in May 2020.
This new patch changes the version from BAH2-L09 8.0.0.278(OCEC431) to BAH2-L09 8.0.0.279(OCEC431) and is only 117 MB in size.
The patch notes read as following:
