After launching the beta for EMUI9.0 on 9 smartphones, the company has confirmed the arrival of the new version to 13 more devices.

Recently, Huawei launched the beta for EMUI9.0 based on Google’s Android 9.0 Pie, allowing 5 000 users per device model, on 9 different devices, to sign-up. These devices are the Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10 Porsche Design, P20, P20 Pro, Mate RS Porsche Design, Honor 10, Honor View 10 and Honor Play. On top of these 9 devices, the Mate 20 series will have EMUI9.0 out of the box.
Now, a second round for the beta has launched for 13 other, older models of the company, these being:
- Mate 9
- Mate 9 Pro
- Mate 9 Porsche Design
- P10
- P10 Plus
- Nova 2S
- Nova 3
- MediaPad M5 8.4”
- MediaPad M5 10.8”
- MediaPad M5 10.8” Pro
- Honor 9
- Honor V9
- Honor Note 10
This makes a total of 22 devices that will be getting the new EMUI9.0. It is expected that EMUI9.0 will be launched for all users on specific devices before the end of this year, 2018.
As mentioned in our past article, to join the beta, users will have to download and install the beta app from Huawei’s website, login with their Huawei ID, and join a project if one is available for their device.
