It is through a Weibo post from Vmall that we find out about the back design of Honor’s upcoming Honor 30S. Honor’s first smartphone of this year will be unveiled on the 30th of this month, and features Huawei’s new mid-range SoC, the Kirin 820. On the Weibo post, the company proudly talks about the new design of the back of their phone, which comes with a new 3D effect, looking like the wings of a butterfly.
From the picture posted, we learn quite a lot of details, such as the phone being available in at least two different colours, one being green and the other a mixture between blue and pink. Furthermore, we can also notice the quad-camera set-up, which was already confirmed through the photo sample previously posted, with this set-up having a similar design to most high-end smartphones launched this year so far. On this camera bump, we can also see the mention of “AI”, with the camera relying on AI for a number of features.
We can also notice the side-mounted fingerprint reader on the power button, similar to what was already done on the Honor 20 series or Huawei’s Nova 5T. Lastly, this device is compatible with 5G, thanks to the Kirin 820.
