Honor has confirmed that their upcoming Honor 30S will support 40W wired charging.

On the 30th of March, Honor will be launching their first smartphone of the year, the Honor 30S, forming part of the Honor 30 series. This device will also be the first to feature Huawei’s newest mid-range SoC, the Kirin 820, which is also compatible with 5G. Through various teasers posted on Weibo, we also learn of various details of this new SoC, as well as various features of the Honor 30S, such as the quad-camera on the back or that the Kirin 820 has the same ISP (Image Signal Processor) as the Kirin 990 and Kirin 990 5G, ISP 5.0.
This new teaser confirms the device will feature 40W wired charging, which can also be found on other mid-range devices of Huawei, such as the P40 Lite. We can also notice the punch-hole front camera at the top left, as well as the speaker grill at the top-centre:
A new render posted by Vmall also shows the side of the device, confirming once again the side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a rather large and noticeable camera bump on the rear, housing the quad-camera set-up:
